However, what I've noticed is the there is a large amount of bulling which goes on here especially form long term members on new members.
I wonder if that's why there are so few recent members.
Instead of constructive arguments or debating points the 'good ole boys' of the Forum just indulge in insults.
it looks as if they want to scare new members off and keep it on the 'ole boy network'.
I don't know if any recent members (if there are many still here) have experienced this verbal bullying too.
Some of the main bullying appears to be from the administrators as can be seen from my profile (controlled by them)
"Lurker not a fighter
Craic is slower than a 486"
These people need to get a life and stop scaring new members away.
I would pay no attention to the Rep thing, no one knows what it is for or why it is even a part of the forum, it's not a Q&A site like Stack Overflow....sufficiently advanced stupidity is indistinguishable from malice - Asimov (sort of)

but remember that most of the topics have been done to death a dozen times, people get a bit bored covering the same ground over and over. So they try to make it entertaining

HTHScience isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment
