Ah well......don't think anyone would have beaten Nadal the way he played today, although Murray gave it his best shot.
I guess if you are ranked 4th in the world then as long as you reach the semis of the majors you are delivering on expectations. What he needs to work out is how to improve his rankings somehow.
Think he has improved since last year, but he needs to improve still further to win a slam event.
On the day the better man won. Well played Rafa.“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. And the first vessel to have departed is Britain”Comment

Most annoying. Oh well, US open next isn't it?
Apparently his career winnings are over $15 million so it's hardly fair to call him a loser

Unfortunately that's what separates very good players from champions.Originally posted by shaunbhoy View Postdon't think anyone would have beaten Nadal the way he played today
In order to win a Gland Slam, you either have to be the best, or be lucky enough that the best are injured / having a bad day.Comment

When I played professional tennis it was always difficult to play against top players but you had to focus. That's how i won the Newton Abbot Open for two years running against six fingered Shaun. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment
