When ever I go to that there London town I stay here

Superb - looks superb, they also are doing twins for £99 and triple rooms for £129. Perfect!!

The pub that is joined onto the Hotel is a Chavy type Wetherspoons, last time I stayed England were playing and the cops turned so I'd stay away but I can't fault the hotel itself

Set in the historic district in the "City" of London, at 7 Gracechurch Street, adjacent to the popular Leadenhall Market shopping area. Nestled among charming pedestrian streets linking London's ancient churches, parks and public houses, it is just a short walk to the Tower of London, Bank of England, and the London Bridge. Featuring the Gaucho Grill, an Argentinean steakhouse and winner of the Silver Award for Best Business Lunch Restaurant, housed in what were once the gold holding vaults of the Bank of England.

Club Quarters isn't really Central, unless you want to split hairs, it's in a largely dead at the weeken business district, so you will have to walk for miles or jump on a tube to get somewhere lively. The Cumberland used to be our cheap crash pad Hotel when in London but haven't stayed there for a couple of years. Have you thought of skipping the hotel and just stay out clubbing to avoid the cost?

Actually I'd prefer to stay in the city at the weekend. it's nice and quiet and only a short hop to the busy places.

Though it isn't far from Bank, Monument and Liverpool Street tubes and a short walk from the tower of London if you fancy some sightseeing.

Agree the city is pretty dead at the weekends.
