If your work was that good why did you need to highlight it?

I suspect a grudge. I can respect that; I'm a vindictive man. What you do is get a friend you trust to go to an Internet café and set up an anonymous email account and email you allegations and evidence to all relevant parties. Then keep quiet about it.

Or just get on with life knowing that you are the better man. I know what I'd do.

Or realise the OP is a troll and ask him to postmin General where we can provide the help he needs.
What happens in General, stays in General.

Cowboy contractors are far more visible than cowboy employees and far more likely to be given their stetson back and told to mosey off. Leave it to the permie managers to do their job.

If you're a good contractor, your reputation will keep you in work. If you're a cowboy or bluffer then you'll be starting like a newbie contractor every time because you can't fall back on your rep to keep you busy.

As I don't know what you do for a living, I would suggest at the next project meeting nominating the cowboy to do a piece of work that (s)he claims can do blindfolded and sit back and wait to see what happens.

If I grassed up every contractor I worked with on suspicions that they "sexed up" their CV, my real life rep would match my CUK one.

Any contractor worth their salt will have exaggerated on their CV, then spent many hours cramming on a skill, then you get in and learn on the job, then it becomes a real skill.

Well, I can only hope that our paths will never cross. As far as i am concerned, your CUK and real life rep is no different. One of the reasons why I left my last contract was because the contractor I was working with was sh*te and was an insult to the technical community.
