I went on the WSR couple of years ago expecting to experience the thrill of steam but was disappointed to find they laid on a diesel railcar instead.

And they provided a beer festival special a couple or so years ago running from Taunton, to the Minehead Beer Festival, and back. Silly sods forget to get a liquor licence for the run back - so the bar was shut on a train packed full of blokes wanting more ale.
