I last worked there many many moons ago... it must have been 2002/3 if I remember correctly. Lovely place, and nice people generally. They used to give every single employee/contractor/associate a big box of chocolates at Christmas. And the restaurants were good too, though shame about the lack of bars/pubs.
i heard the management restaurant there is silver service
Oh, hang on. I'd forgotten that only the next quarter matters...
Sysman,
yep bob didn't see that one coming
the outsourcing work I am on, the bob management are not taking any more bob resources, they're too expensive, they're only interested in their new best friends in the Philippines and Brazil now
story is it will be Africa next once those two get too expensive
my bob colleagues are not happy about this, and as they get promoted up the grades ladder they get too expensive for our work and have to move and find other projects in their company - bob is a bit miffed to say the least
funny that I am also in the same situation as you but all bobs left oneafter the other one so I believe my new role is "bob" trainer. It's quite a cushy position as they leave on average after 6 months right after the training period. Good for us.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.
