What's so incompetent to ask pretty reasonable question:

"5- How long did your search of the apartment take after you detected your daughter Madeleine’s disappearance? "

The rest are pretty reasonable also - at least for an innocent person to answer honest as they should when questioned by police.

The important are those that she REFUSED to answer: a lot of them are very reasonable given the serious nature of investigation.

            why ?
are you suggesting that if she had answered these questions the little girl would be home safe and sound ?
which is surely what we want

those questions are not designed to find the girl, they are designed to secure a conviction. There is nothing wrong with that, but you have to distinguish between the two

In a dodgy situation you are wisest to answer NO questions.
The Portuguese police by this stage were looking for a quick fix to make up for their shortcomings.

Yes of course he has. Now that housing benefit is going to be cut he's decided to pay for himself before he gets kicked off.
The fact they've metered his electric and he doesn't know about sofas tells me he's a claimant.
