This could go right down to the last match. I guess that's why Monty stuck McDowell down there, like a beacon after the lower-order riff-raff.
Fair play to that Mollinari who's up though.Comment

13-10. It's going to be 14-13, McDowell is going to need a half, so he'll win it for usOriginally posted by Doggy Styles View PostThis could go right down to the last match. I guess that's why Monty stuck McDowell down there, like a beacon after the lower-order riff-raff.

13-11
Mollinari should beat Fowler, but Hansen and Harrington are getting mullered, dormie 4 and dormie 5 down respectively.
That will make it 14-13 to Europe. A 14-14 draw gives USA the cup, so it all boils down to the last match.
All eyes on McDowell, 2 up with 5 to play over Mahon. He needs a half there for Europe to win the Ryder Cup.Comment

Molinari lost the 16th, so he's dormie 2 now.Originally posted by Doggy Styles View Post13-11

Oh dear, McDowell loses the 15th and is now only one up with three to play.
As things stand we've won the Ryder cup, but our two are crumbling a bit under the extreme pressure. The yanks don't have the same pressure - they were dead and buried half an hour ago.Comment
