A MUCH-loved Bracknell trader is leaving the town centre, blaming rising rent and static sales for its departure.
Artwork, gift and furniture shop Monkey Trading, in Charles Square, will close its doors for the final time on Saturday, July 2.
The shop is the latest in a line of businesses to leave the town in recent months including MVC, All Sports and Freelady Fabrics.
The shop, which opened three and a half years ago, was a runner-up in a national Gift Retailer of the Year competition in 2004 but since has seen a drop in sales as well as a rise in rents.Comment
