yeah though about, then what? Buy, hire my own plane with all these budget airlines about flying everywhere and anywhere? That kind of took the fun out of the idea for me, so I'm now thinking about learning to sail and buying my own yacht.... oh arr, it was a dark and stormy night and the captain said unto his men, gather round boys I've got a story to tell...."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark Twain -
yes always an option but I think I would get sea sick. much rather prefer my own lear jet..............Comment

I don't think it is possible - Icarus tried it but you need very large breast muscles to support the body weight.Comment

Fantastic fun. Bit expensive in ol' blighty though. Better off learning in USA if you're thinking about it.
Best way to shagging birds as well. Taking a young lady to France in their own private carriage for a weekend beats hands down a "fancy a meal at Blubeckers" anyday.
Think Churchill on here flies whirlybirds...If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

Loadsa twirly bits.
Also reflected in the cost of training. Hyper, how much did you pay in total for your single engine PPL? I paid £13k(in 1998) but claimed the VAT as I managed to sign on to the NVQ route.
Where can I put a piccy?Comment
