    I thought Gimpy was supposed to live in WSM...
    The Nene Vally Railway runs between Wansford/Stibbington and Peterborough (with a few trains going from W/S to Yarwel).

    Wisbech however is about 30 miles further east than P'Boro and the A17 a further 10ish miles than that.....

    So come on Gimpyboy please explain the journey that got you from "Anywhere in the west of England" to the Nene Valley Railway that could be anywhere near Wisbech and/or then the A17.....
    Also what/where was the (Steampowered) railway near Wisbech (I think the Wisbech and Upwell closed in 1966)?

    Tut Tut <shaking head> Tut..... better research please....
