Oh blimey EO, I hope he's Ok. Can the hotel not tell you anything, i.e. when he was last there?

What put my mind at rest, in July, was that he was paying for the flight, and the bird was paying for the hotel. I thought there was very little chance that a kid could have that kind of money.

The mother caught them, rang our home number, ranting, i emailed her asking what she expected me to do, then she sent me an email, also ranting. I replied, being reasonable, since then..nothing.

(the missus set up a throw-away email addy, I have been away in somerset for the week)

Did she confirm the girls age? Baffling.

Ive only just got my comms back, and it was probably a good idea not to overreact anyway,a few days is probably the right time to start panicking.

I will start phoning in about four hours or so. Just going through all the permutations in my head, isnt it funny how you always come back to the worst case

Hang on the basic gist of this thread is.

My son has had sex with an underage girl and his disapeared. Is this my fault.

The connotations & descriptions for this are pretty bloody obvious.

no. In the initial phone rant to the missus, the mum said the girl was under age.

what is truly baffling, why did the mum stop ranting at me, why did the phone go dead.

I will get some answers tonight.

The girl is probably not underage, legally. Perhaps her Mum is v angry that her daughter has been at it with some lad she doesn't know. Your son is probably in hiding and v embarrased at being caught with his trousers down.

He's probably terrified, maybe thinking the police will be looking for him (god only knows what the woman screamed at him when she caught them). I hope he's in contact soon, EO; I'm sure your missus wont sleep a wink until he is.
Oh, I’m sorry….I seem to be lost. I was looking for the sane side of town. I’d ask you for directions, but I have a feeling you’ve never been there and I’d be wasting my time.

if she is underage, it looks bad.

Kids eh? Hope he gets in touch soon. He's probably having a great time, oblivious to the worry he's causing.
