Please go and read some history and then make a posting. Both the UK and US were openly sending arms and money to the Mujahideen in Afghanistan. The Taliban was the name given by the west.

The Taliban movement appeared long AFTER USSR left Afganistan - that was in late 80s, and communist regime there managed another 10 years - Taliban was sponsored by ISI (Pakistan): if you have issues with it then take them to Pakistan, there was no UK/US involvement in actually making Taliban win in late 90s.
