      Microchip in the ball?

Following our disallowed goal earlier I can understand them not wanting to use playback/camera data in refereeing, BUT what about the idea of microchipping the ball to give off a signal when it's over the line? I'm surprised that was rejected in trials and would love to know why. What does everyone else think?

The Referee making mistakes is all part of the "magic" of the game.

The goal wasn't disallowed, it just wasn't bloody seen!
