Putting a bicycle on a train

Sound nic, yes. But then if you can't get the bike on the train home, you're buggered. Experience has taught us to train out / cycle back as we've had so many pig-headed, pompously titled 'train managers' to deal with. Also, if you're booking, it's easier to be sure of times outward bound. -
Precisely. So we're going to tip up at the station tomorrow at 6.45 am and hope we can get our bikes on.
