[QUOTE=cailin maith;1149102][QUOTE=Churchill;1149101]Nope, a vegan wouldn't use any animal products at all. Leather etc.

Think no more "Shoes" and "Handbags"...

    That's just crazy talk!!!
It is the way you write it...

Yeah but how many times have you spoken to someone who professes to be "vegetarian" and then goes on to say "But I do eat eggs, and cheese, and have milk in my tea..."

Ovo-lacto is just a quicker/easier way of saying just that.

I don't think I've spoken to a vegetarian for a few years, all my friends like a good barbeque...

All of these definitions seem to have come about recently - about 2 lifetimes ago I lived with a woman who was a vege (which as Jules says, made me a vegetarian too), I don't remember all this nomenclature from then.

oh come on. The day you stop drawing faces on eggs you might as well just crawl into the grave.

They don't eat honey either. Apparently, commercially produced honey involves removing the male bee's sting to make him ejaculate.

That's just ridiculous... vegetarians don't get invited to dinner parties.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
