Cheers Zippy. The _ was only ever a temporary thing. Think it appeared briefly around the time we moved from the first forum incarnation.
Anyway, still on the beer only option for now, and as #1 son turned up with a resupply of real ales, may not progress onto the wine/malt scenario at all today. Something my head/liver may be thankful for tomorrow!!

Just pondering whether to go down the beer then wine route, or the beer then Malt whisky route. Don't want to mix the wine/whisky. Bad experiences abound with that option.
Anyone tried a Briuchladdich? Got a bottle as a pressie and wondered what it might be like. Oh well..........only one way to find out.
        Slainte everyone!!
        Never mix grape and grain!

Enjoy the rest of your birthday!

Yep, it made sasguru the man we see before us. Penniless, friendless, gormless and brain-dead.

I thought ganging up on Sas was a weektime activity? Am I out of step?

Anyhoo SB, stay off the hard stuff. (you can drink more that way)

Many thanks one and all. Still on the ale for now. #2 son and his mates just got back from fishing at Babbacombe and brought a few mega fresh mackerel. Just gutted, prepped and whizzed them on the bar-b-q. Seem to be going down well, but has eaten into valuable drinking time pour moi. Better slope...............c ya!!
