No, he loves inflicting it on me. Evrytime I have to go over I know i'm going to be there for at least an hour while he keeps going off at tangents leaving me clueless as to what he was on about . Worst of all, when I finally get back to my machine I never have a clue what it was I was doing before he scrambled my brain.Originally posted by SuperZ View PostMight have been a tad nervous with one or two (or more) folks watching.Comment

On a very different note but concerning the germanic size, it amazed me how the the Romans (average height 5'4") managed to thrash the german tribes who were generally about 6'.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View Post
Well yes. Last time I went to Britain I was reminded that most people there are quite short compared to NL; I’m certainly not unusually large but the trains didn’t have enough room for my legs and I had to leave the bloody theatre half way through the show as I couldn’t sit with my legs folded up against my chest for any longer. Given your size you would be making a wise move if you were to consider a move to Holland, where the average man is about 6ft3 and most things are built to accommodate much larger people than that.
Yes I know Arminius wiped out 3 legions, but that was tactical cunning on his part (being Roman trained) and ineptitude on the part of Varro.

Were you still billing for this time? If so then try to relax. Think about happy places..............like being stood in the corridor of the 17:29 from Swindon to Weston next to a fat sweaty flatulent yokel.Originally posted by gricerboy View PostNo, he loves inflicting it on me.
