    And did you notice, our old Dim Fawn wannabe Patricia Hewitt said:

    "Given the scale of the proposals, the large sums of taxpayers' cash involved and the significant reduction in waiting lists in recent years, it would be reckless to go ahead without proper scrutiny"

    On the same day the House of Lords threw out their plans for ID cards because:

    "peers insisted the identity cards scheme should not go ahead until there were full estimates of its costs, but the Home Office says it will press ahead with the project. "

    This lot are beyond a joke.

      Yes, our government demand proper scrutiny of health costs, but demand we don't scrutinise ID card costs. It shows where the priorities really are.

      And as health costs are spiralling anyway, what value is their "scrutiny"? They seem to do it with a hose.
