Well he grew up in a back street Terrace house in Barking so I think always is over egging it!Originally posted by DodgyAgent View Posthe has always been an "I'm alright" champagne socialist enjoying an affluent priviliged life living in a lovely house overlooking the sea who wishes to keep the poor trapped inside the institutions of socialism.
I know cos Steven* was a mate of mine and lived down the road.... TBH his younger brother Dave was my mate cos we were in the same year.
I always liked "Looking for a New England".... but I actually prefer Kirsty McCalls(sp) version
* Billy is his stage/nick name/nom de plume (possibly also middle name?)Comment

I've kissed BillyOriginally posted by gricerboy View PostNow that the Tories are back in do you think that Billy Bragg will finally realise the game is up and wind his neck in or can we expect more of him poncing around like some self appointed arbitor on behalf of the body politic?
and I'd do it again in an instant (and in many other places)

He has always been a staunch labour man, but the last time I went to see him (where I face raped him) he had had enough of them. I think the ID cards pushed him over the edge!Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostOn the subject of Billy Bragg, I can remember all his "There is power in a union" stuff, and thought he was a staunch Labour kind of a guy. But I am sure I heard in this latest Election that he had pinned his colours to the Lib Dem mast. Is he a bit of a floating leftie voter or has he always been a LibDem sort?
And he had no choice but to vote Lib Dem - it's note like he could abstain from voting...his head would explode! The pope is a tard.Comment

I can see why he did, I'm a life long labour voter but this time couldn't bring myself to do it, my sympathies are with Billy.Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostHe has always been a staunch labour man, but the last time I went to see him (where I face raped him) he had had enough of them. I too voted LD....and if it had been a choice between labour and this hokey-kokey bunch of libby-Tories, I would have voted in the hokey-kokies.Originally posted by Ruse View PostI can see why he did, I'm a life long labour voter but this time couldn't bring myself to do it, my sympathies are with Billy.
Although once they close the dss in Longbenton and shaft all the students, I might live to regret my vote. The pope is a tard.Comment

I read recently that 60% of all jobs in Newcastle are public sector so if David of Eton and all hus upper class friends(oh, ok I voted LD so only self to blame) slash public sector by 50% where are all the workers in the NE going to go to find work..., that's right further SouthOriginally posted by SallyAnne View PostI too voted LD....and if it had been a choice between labour and this hokey-kokey bunch of libby-Tories, I would have voted in the hokey-kokies.

We'll be fine - we're used to being arse-raped.
