I keep on saying- Clegg could be the end for the Libdems. He has some huge decisions ahead of him.
Of course if a Tory led goverment sorts out the boundary issues as a matter of priority, they probably will get a majority in a near future election with the same proportion of votes. So the coallition doesn't have to last that long.

If they're smart, the LibDems will agree to abstain for a certain period to ensure some stability, which means Cameron can go ahead and form a minority government. That way the LibDems don't have to look like they've sold out their principles just to get some small amount of power, and nor do they take the blame for propping up the Labour government nobody wanted. Being the "king maker" might sound good, but really it's a lose-lose situation for them.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Give it a few weeks, and the line will be:

"Gordon was a brilliant chancellor but not so good at PM. Put him in the Lords as Lord Chancellor, get a new leader, and the Labour party will be up and running again."

Imagine Ed Balls as Prime Minister.

Look, can we leave reality out of this? It scares me and DaveB is having real problems keeping up.

Lib Dems 'secretly' met with Labour over weekend.

So what exactly are Lib Dems trying achieve here? If there is a snap election they will get wiped out just for trying to hold the country to ransom.

Its simple. If they are okay with Cnservative coalition just put the terms on the table. Take it or leave it.

Why keep meeting both Lab and Cons ?
