The one on the left is a Cylon undercover agent, the one on the right is Boomer, which surely has to be some improvement.
Boomer old style vs new stylee...
But the Cylons are robots, and Boomer is a man.
I.e. it's gone PC :-O
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
Sorry but the one on the left looks like a transvestite and the one on the right looks about 13.
Not the sort of message the show hope to promote, I hope ?
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
Now you know me, I'm notorious at batting for the other team so I don't feel bad about greatly looking forward to the start of season 2 of Battlestar Galactica tonight. Did anybody else also enjoy this splendid show?
Been downloading it, am halfway through season 2. There has been a big break in the US between the first and second halves of the series; it has just started up again.
I'd give it 6.5/10. The mini series/pilot which started it off was great, but since then there is been far too much politics, and on balance the thing is quite depressing. I appreciate the departure in style from the series I used to watch with egg and chips when I was a kid, but it hasn't quite lived up to my expectations.
I think that's why I like it. It isn't all Star Trekky where everything works out alright or where each week the problem is resolved by a genius who was top of the class at the academy spouting some techno-babble and pressing a button while the camera rocks a bit, and it's all forgotten about next week.
There is a real feeling of jeopardy nnd you know that it might very well not work out alright and that any one of the main characters could peg it at any time.
Anyway, enough of that. Here's another shot of that chick looking a bit older than 13.
