Had a similar one to that, not on the motorway, on the way to Retford. There I am on my motorbike, several cars and a van in front of me and at the front of this queue was a tractor pulling a huge trailer overloaded with sugar beets. Dead slow, dullards in front were frightened to overtake as it's a narrow windy road. So there I am, getting irritated at playing it safe and 'waiting my turn'. Then the load shifted, a good few fell off and I saw one of them in particular bouncing off roofs heading right for me. Stuck my head on the tank and IIRC it only left a small brown patch on the back of my helmet, didn't so much hit as just grazed by.

All the traffic ahead hit their brakes and having no where else to go apart from the parcel shelf of the car in front I overtook the entire queue in one go.

    Which was nice.

A702 from M74 to Edinburgh, only one real over taking place, I hate that road, almost kill myself every time I'm on it!

A76 too, I've certainly had my adrenaline rush on that road.

      God I miss Scotland....

Yes, drove to Glasgow, once. Bought a 1st class rail ticket each week after that and stayed at the rather lovely hotel at the station. Baths like little swimming pools. Fantastic. Bet they've modernised it now though.

I used to work just round the corner from Central Station, a beautiful building.

I prefer driving but then the west-coast line isn't a patch on the line from sunny Don...

I have never flashed my lights at someone to get them to move and never will, I think its rude and intimidating and could cause the person in front to react in either a childish way - slowing down etc or panic and move out of the way before they've checked its safe.

If someone is too close behind me I get out of their way, they are behaving like ****** and I'd much rather not have them around me.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

M25 Heathrow to M23 stretch, sat behind a Ford Focus in the outsode lane and I thought the driver was drunk because he was swerving all over the shop and it was rush hour. It was only when we came to a halt in the traffic and I saw the blonde girl sit up, look around sheepishly and wipe her mouth that I knew why he was distracted from driving!

They were right in front of me and just didnt care, she resummed her work and he just drove along at about 20mph until the next junction.

Although doing the M25 for 4 years I saw many accidents that was by far the most entertaining incident!
