If you got offered a job in another country paying much more than you earn now and then took the job, would you expect people to regard you in the same way?

I'm not sure I see the link, as i never threataned to leave or bitched about paying my taxes while i was in the uk, in fact the only reason i have a highly paid job overseas is that there aren't any jobs for me in the uk since the bankers did their bit to improve my lot
