    Totally.

    Both lines & internet.

A nice Indian lady wanted to charge me for having one of my lines repaired.

    I've now fixed that.
Yes, their (indian) call centre in a nightmare. Their usual respnse is phone 0898 premium number thank you.

I too have cancelled all services (over £100 a month) because of this. About time these companies learned!

As I'm closing down my Manchester apartment and so I either face the fact that:

      a) I lose British TV streamed via Slingbox
      b) get satellite and dish here in Germany (landlady doesn't like sat dishes)
      c) move Slingbox to parents house

      c) is preferable but the problem is they have BT ADSL and the Upload is currently running at 0.37Mb/s, I was thinking of moving them to Virgin ADSL (Virgin Cable Broadband is not available in their village), can anyone tell me if Virgin gives any better upload speeds?

or any other ADSL options, I'm just looking at Demon right now

Virgin just re-sell BT ADSL where they haven't got their own kit (AFAIK). You'd have to check on the website & enter your parents postcode to find out what speed you might get.

My slingbox packed in last week. Took it back to PC world where they gave me a new one. Its timing was impeccable as I've had it a little over 11 months but under 12
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

          I preferred version 1!

I know - that was my thought. Also, PC world take your postcode when you buy it so you don't need the reciept either.....which I didn't have!
