Gather up as much of your old qualifications as possible and try and get as much 'credit transfer' as possible.
The more of the tulip you can avoid, the better, and the more likely it is you will complete the course without going postal.
Also most of the course materials are written by people whose first language is most certainly not English, and it's not been proof read before being printed and sent to you. Yet they do have a big thing about correct usage of apostrophes...
