Actually, I think I know that Fife animal rescue centre. Isn't it the one next door to that big magnet factory?

<inprobable mode>
The cat meowed with his head in the tin, which acted as a backward facing sonar. With his outstanding geographical memory built up through years of wandering around the neighbourhood, the cat was able to deduce his location from the echos in the tin coming from behind him. He then walked into the SPCA hoping he might find the least stupid people in the area, all the while wondering ‘why do some idiots think I can’t find the way with a tin on my head?’. Cats consider humans to be completely stupid and incapable. Sometimes I think they’re right.

<conspiracy theory>
The alien creatures that adopt cat hosts always try to get back to the mother ship which is buried under the ground near Fife. A group of illuminati operate a deep-cover animal sanctuary just above the ships bridge.
The aliens are prevented from returning to the mother ship by orbital mind control lasers operated by government agencies. This scrambles the brain and prevents it from engaging the nervous cortex, but
some strong-willed aliens have been known to overcome the mind control by wrapping their heads in tin foil, biscuit tins or other metal objects.

Invoking Occam’s razor, it's simply the wonders of modern genetically modified cat food found in tins of Whiskers: aided by a freak lightning strike, the contents of the tin had miraculously transformed into a living kitten who was attempting to leave it's artificial womb like a new born chicken from an egg.
Exhausted and traumatised from its breech delivery, bursting through rear end first, the cat instinctively wondered into the rescue centre for help to aid its final travel through the tinned birth canal.If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

I really wish that darn cat would stop wandering off....Originally posted by Spacecadet View PostIt was Schrodingers cat, it went everywhere.
The Fife rescue centre just happened to see it, thus determining its position (although they still don't know its velocity)
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Perhaps there are millions of cats wondering around the area with 'empty' food tins on thier head and one randomly found itself at the centre.Loopy LooComment
