So did I. I came out thinking "that is one place that I never want to go to again".

I've since been to Auschwitz and didn't have quite the same feeling, can't explain why.

Then you are one of those that ought to go...

Or, how convenient it is to be British, since the British have no idea what a paradigm shift might look like, never having had one.

Well you can understand why they wouldn't really want one.

Oh, I’m sorry….I seem to be lost. I was looking for the sane side of town. I’d ask you for directions, but I have a feeling you’ve never been there and I’d be wasting my time.

Not even a Michelin Star of David?

Or is that only for Kosher restaurants?

No doubt. But you were on a Stag-Do. Not only that, you are the sort of one-dimensional johnny-pea-brain that would be unlikely to attempt anything more highbrow than sticking your head in a condom and lighting your farts.

That´s quite difficult actually (says the pie eating blind side flanker with a voice of experience).

But yes, in Germany and Poland you can see the some of the finest and the most tragic periods of European history very close to each other. A visit to the Berlin Philharmonic, or a trip to see some of Europe's finest modern architecture, and then a trip to Auschwitz or the 'wall'. It's all there, and it should all be seen.

                      But I bet they will.
