I am too cold into the standard suit top - suit Coat plus a shirt. So I swapped the coat for a leather jacket .

So I go like the pic below, but Imagine the leather jacket from the pic below the first pic . i.e more conservative.

Neither, if you are interviewing, wear a suit!

I prefer donning the leather jacket for that shower fresh look.

        Leather jacket indeed...

I wouldn't do it myself. Are you wearing a tie? If so definitely not!

If you're too cold in shirt, suit jacket and coat then buy yourself a decent overcoat with wool cashmere mix for the warmth, I have something like this and it keeps me toasty warm in the depths of winter in Munich and looks the part (i.e contractor going to an interview)

Why are you considering working somewhere that cannot afford heating?

These are what I normally wear to work:

Complete sartorial faux pas. Indicates candidate can't be bothered.

ok I get it about the jacket.

one other thing - I'd really love to lose the tie for an interview and go in a standart suit. Again a no no - right ? I am only 30 though , I am not 55 , wearing a tie makes me feel like some serious old man , which I am not.

I had this overcoat before , but swapped it for a long straight leather jacket which looks fashionable , I thought it must be fine for all interviews , except banking. I lost 2 interviews wearing this, but for other reasons. My work is system engineering / mcse - I am not an investment adviser.
