    Hey, I've a client claiming that ESA (the European Space Agency) is having problems paying their bills.
    Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

      I might see if ClientCo will let me know if any other contractors use the same agency. It's complicated by the fact it was only a short contract which is over now..

        It is pretty normal for clients and agents to try and stiff you for the last payment. It is one of the reasons many contractors only work on a weekly payment cycle. As a contractor you get used to chasing for payment.

        There should really be a sticky thread about the sequence of events to follow in the UK, what you should write, which forms to set to the court etc..

            Never ever been stiffed on the last payment, but I have heard its's normal practice at Ultra electronics...
