Didn't the BBC in its infinite wisdom insist on referring to it as "Boss Cat" since "Top Cat" is/was a brand of catfood?

Waste of time, since the titles had "Top Cat" in large letters

There's a mystery solved. I could never work out what connection "Boss Cat" had with the programme.
