Don't know if this will result in a deluge of criticism but a contrary opinion...

Once I was past the first flush of youth i.e. 15- 20 when doing anything (female) in sight was the main impetus... casual bonking began to lose it's appeal, in the early to late 20's I passed up offers of one night stands simply because I could not detach the mechanics and there would be an emotional cost attached.
