Standard VAT will return to 17.5%. HMRC have sent lots of bumf about this to Limited companies, so they would look a bit silly if they changed their mind. There would be an outcry from businesses too, as they would have to hire lots of contractors on super rates to implement and test the changesOriginally posted by Bunk View PostBut will the standard rate of VAT return to 17.5% or something higher?
