To reply to your thread, it seems like a no win for the taxpayer whatever we do, i suppose you may get a buzz from seeing them all farting sideways after their sodomy punishment, but it will not get "our" money back. I do have to agree - the bankers seem to be like children in a sweet shop

they know none of the money/sweets are theirs but they insist that they should be able to take what they want out of the jar.

And i was under the (probably misguided) impression that the banks who were bailed out with tax payers money would have to pay all of that back before bonuses (of the magnitude being looked at) were paid.

ultimately though it is quite apparent that some of these muppets have no sense of responsibility and have the sole interest of getting as much as possible for themselves whilst not given a flying fu<k at a rolling donut about the people who have been plunged into poverty due to the reccesion caused by their incompetence.
