Let them build auto-bahns in the UK, railways, houses that don't cost earth to buy, heck let 'em change to metric system if necessary... verstehen Sie?Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostBecause the French and Germans run the show.Comment

No it isn't....but that is what happens when the will of the people is ignored. Check your history books, there are lots of examples.Originally posted by threaded View PostIt's rather sad that most of those I've listened to who want Blair, only want him because they think it will all end rather badly, and in the process of doing so, think they'll get their desire of the UK leaving the EU.
Some even think like the quoted poster, that it'll end with us all killing each other yet again.
Not a very positive outlook is it?
The EU doesn't do democracy. Sooner or later that will end in tears. Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

They've paid very heavy price for their actions and show no inclination to repeat them, I'd be more worried about other people.Originally posted by Diestl View PostYeah then they can start building the death camps again.Comment

Not heavy enough, they should have been wiped from the map. They could have spilt the country up and made 1/4 for Jewish people. There I also solved the middle east problem.Originally posted by AtW View PostThey've paid very heavy price for their actions and show no inclination to repeat them, I'd be more worried about other people.Comment

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

I think they paid very heavy price. Let's keep things in perspective - wiping out of Indeans in America was as close to genocide as it can get, as far as Britain is concerned opium wars in China and plenty of other crimes would also qualify for war crimes easily.Originally posted by Diestl View PostNot heavy enough, they should have been wiped from the map.
And you think Jewish people would have wanted to live there after WW2? I doubt it very much. They could have spilt the country up and made 1/4 for Jewish people. There I also solved the middle east problem.Comment
