Most manufacturers share parts bins so there aren't many mainstream models that are unique to a particular marque, AFAIK BMW and Merc don't share but you pay through the nose for the privilege.
Its true Vauxhall / Opel and Saab were the same chassis but, vauxhall's on the insignia which uses the epsilon 3 chassis. The saabs use the old vectra chassis therefore saab's are old and out of date.
saab's also have a far higher warranty claim record and feature very high on the breakdown recovery agents list of vehicles most frequently recovered.I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!Comment
