An ex-gf had a 2CV. Roll the roof back, open up the dash vents, and you had a great fresh air car. It was surprisingly good fun to drive.

You could do Rommel impressions as well.

I think it's ok if the car was originally designed to be a convertible like an MX5 or S2000 but buying a 'chopped' often heavier version of perfectly good car just so you can be seen is fecking gay.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I had a Nissan 300ZX but that was a T-Top rather than convertible. Noisy with the roof off but quick.....and fun to drive!!

Also known as the Nissan "Fairlady". I'd have kept that to myself if I were you....

It had induction kit, sport chip, boost controller and was about 400HP...very quick indeed!!!

                    Expensive to run though...

                      300zx

They did do a proper convertible (non-turbo only) as well, but they are very rare in the UK.
