    2. Battersea? Really? That's a surprise, it's a relatively pleasant area (although the old thing about it possibly attracting the ne'er do wells is not forgotten)

        I used to live in Battersea, like most areas in London there's some nice parts and some rough parts. If you come out the wrong exit at Clapham Junction you're surrounded by council high-rise tower blocks. Use the other exit and it's fine. Wrong side of the tracks and all that.
