Melton Mowbray pork pies, with extra lard on the bottom. Oh, and some tangy doritos.

I forgot to mention what I do when it's coming on. A few pints and a nice hot curry, then retreat to bed early with a large flask of tea.

Cauliflower cheese is my ultimate comfort food, and lots of proper cups of tea. Made properly though, I am v pernickerty about the making of the tea.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Chicken Soup - like Menelaus said.

Instant noodles as well, and Monster Munch 'nice n spicy'.

                Lots of seriously strong cheddar.

Similar to what I did last night, I bought a bottle of Knob Creek bourbon (had a few glasses but not the bottle), made a more than average hot Lamb Jalfrezi, got an early night and slept for 10hrs with a winter duvet on the bed and drank LOADS of water..

woke up this morning feeling starving hungry and good as new

Glad you are well but you clearly did not have swine flu.
I have a strong feeling that most diagnoses in the UK are false.
