              A year or two ago, when the case was first reported, they were saying the guy had been in the Stasi (the former East German intelligence service). But the other day the papers were claiming or speculating [?] he was formerly in the CIA. All very mysterious..

                    That is an absolutely terrrrrible photo and has little or no resembelence. It was from the original interview with the Kent Police. What appears to be mangled face is actually prothetics which were put ito place while unsupervised in the customs area Dover, waiting to be seen to. This made it possible to give the Police a photo for their PNC records which looked nothing like the (a) real face. Down to the scar on the bad teeth, nose, brow and the appearance that one eye was slightly higher then the other.

                    There have been many stories in the press but you really cannot believe them, now can you? Working for a Swiss insurance company or a large swiss bank was not the coup d' gra, but the fact that with the identity it was possible to get past the DVA (Defence Vetting Agency) and actually getting a position within GCHQ listening to the British intercepting German, French and American government communications. Of course they intercepted other but these were the most perplexing, they are after all allies. There was a further contract within the Metropolitan Police working on PNC security. Fake arrest warrants make great April fools jokes ;-}

                    For the Coat of Arms, the press meerly assumed that the CoA was that from the Buckingham family of more then 200 years ago. There were slight changes made to that on the headed paper, making it very unique and unrelated to the original. It was not from the Buckingham family but from the family holding the title (Villiers family). So in essence, having created the CoA that had a striking resembelance to the older without being the same, it was possible to use the created one without any problems from the Royal College or Arms.

                    As for working in any foreign intelligence services: I can neither confirm nor deny that I may or may not have in the present or past, worked, contracted or free-lanced for some existant or (officially)non-existant covert agency, government department or power.

                    Contrary to UK press reports, have never been any inclinations to be a hit-man.
