I drive through some lovely country lanes each day at the moment. What annoys me is I sometimes (once or twice a week) come across someone driving 40mph constantly (which is to slow along some of the wider straight roads) but they also drive 40mph through the 30mph villages meaning I drop back then catch them up again later to find I can`t overtake become I`ve already gone past the low risk overtaking areas (usually just outside the villages).

Idiots who drive only in the outside lane....

Ah yes, country drivers; we have them in Holland too. Bloody inbreds think a car has two speeds; stand still or 60kph. They blast off along a residential street at 60 kph ignoring the pedestrians, children and pets wandering about, then get out on the open road and still drive 60 kph and drive in the middle of the slightly narrow road, thus ensuring nobody can overtake. It's inbreeding I tell you.Originally posted by SuperZ View PostI drive through some lovely country lanes each day at the moment. It makes no difference how many lanes there are! You drive in the left most lane unless you are passing something (immenantly) in which case you pull out to pass then move back in accordingly.Originally posted by d000hg View PostOn a road with 2-3 lanes, I agree. But when you get up to 4+ lanes on a moderately busy road, things get more tricky, although the outside lane should always remain the overtaking/fast lane.
If all the muppets using the 2nd, 3rd and 4th lanes stuck to this then we wouldnt need ever increasing lane numbers.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

There's no such thing on UK motorways as the "fast lane"! After the nearside lane, they are all "overtaking" lanes.
I frequently undertake lane hoggers on the motorway.
What pisses me off most are the inconsiderate driver who, once you pull into the next lane to let them join the motorway or pass slower moving traffic in their lane, then speed up preventing you pulling back into the correct lane.
It pisses me off so much I dont pull over to the right for them now so they ******* have to slow down or drive into the back of the vehicle in front of them. Twunts!I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

Hope the selfish c**ts get swine flu. and aids. and die a slow painful death.

Most of us on here are adults who don't get offended by swearing so don't have to think we are clever in beating the swearing filter by putting spaces in words.
