In the end it wasnt the fuse after all, the thing that wouldnt work was a digital timer for the outside light the timer has an LCD display. The reason it didn't work was that in order to feed power to the timer unit you need a working bulb in the light fitting as it uses the bulb element, its stopped working when I put an energy saving bulb in which doesnt have an element.Comment
