I was trying to wget a file from my home server to my server in the states over port 8080 which normally takes 1 minute. Just would not work, eventually got it over port 80 and it took 9 minutes. During the wait I checked this site, seen the thread and knew why instantly. Reminds me of 9/11 when the web nearly shut down with traffic.
