It is known as UWE. University of the West of England.

No doubt such an illustrious fellow as your good self attended colleges in both Oxford and Cambridge, and had to commute between those esteemed seats of learning on a daily basis, in your Lamborghini.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

            No it isn't.

We have two don’t you know, one is a glorified tech but the other is in the UK top ten and has more applications per place than any other uni in the country.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Oh dear. I can just see this degenerating into an argument about the value of Media Studies Foundation Degrees versus MacDiplomas.

Why be such an elitist tw@t? Bristol has a well regarded university FFS.

That sort of comment sums up everything that is wrong with the attitude that hamstrings this now pathetic country.

Actually, I bought a house by the river and used to walk or cycle to lectures.

Can I put "Elitist Twat™" on my CV, please? I'd be quite pleased with that.

My best qualifications to date are my grade A O levels in English, Maths and Physics.
