Aye. They have said nothing about this.

    Plod should investigate MP's.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

The thing I find most amusing in all of this is that the government bring in legislation like IR35, force their IT contractors to take IR35 unfriendly contracts (or leave), and then are truly surprised when embarrassments like this occur.

        They really are that thick!

You're governed by twonks, utter bunch of twonks.
The day IR35 came in, the stock exchange systems crashed.

        Funny ol' thing eh?

Yes, I imagine it's not so much where they put the brolly, but when they start opening it

Time will tell, but I am not sure that you are correct there. The Tories generally are a wealthier bunch so do not need to fiddle expenses to feather their nests. Certainly, the Tory shadow cabinet will have to have gone a long way to outdo the Labour cabinet on expenses sleaze. Labour, remember, are also supposed to be 'whiter than white' as per Blair's triumphal speech of 1997.

This is the epitome of socialism at work.

MP's claims that their expenses are "within the rules" contrast sharply with their claims that people should pay a "fair" amount of tax - even if those people operate inside "the rules".

Ahmmm... 'cash for questions'?? Just sleaze by a different name.

At this rate I may be persuaded to vote liberal at least some of their MP’s appear to have a modicum of moral fibre.

So the MP's have called in the police to investigate the leak...

Is it possiple for a mamber of the masses (ie us) to call in the police to investigate the fraud that has been perpetuated against this country?

Find the responsible tosspots and charge them with treason.

What gets me is when you look at how ridiculous some of the claims are, and the standard response is "it's all within the rules"...

What about the rules of having good morals and not living off the back of other people's hard work? They should be sacked, forced to pay it back plus interest, or jailed.
