Tories natural inclination is to encourage freedom of the individual to choose what they wish to do, and provided it is legal and that they take personal responsibility, to support them.
    Steven Milligan.

This thread is about Thatcher. Evil witch who believed that the destruction of entire communities was a worthwhile price to pay to pander to the cause of free market economics which has proved to be a failure. Left power amidst a recession and riots. However you look at it, a failure. Be glad when she's dead.

Rather than spout some facile cliche perhaps you could explain what you think should have been done at the time. Or even maybe put an argument forward to support the status quo.
I think you are just p****d because her policies exposed the evils of socialism.

She took tough decisions and did what had to be done. We need another like her.

Says the chief spouter of facile cliches. Look through your posts on this thread - gross generalisation and cliche-mongering for the most part.

              Bong!

Labour voters are natural collectivists driven by what they think is a sense of fairness, but is actually envy. They individually believe that no one is better than they are and therefore anyone displaying better than them credentials (public school, oxbridge, earning more money, supporting Thatcher etc etc) needs to be cut back.

perhaps if you spent 5 minutes typing the word "cliche" into google it may just explain to you the meaning of the word.
