It may have a (tiny little) bit to do with me taking up smoking in my late teens. Something I also intend to pack in.

I'm hoping that combining giving up with training will be an incentive, as I hope to really notice the improvement - and hence be more motivated to stay heathly.
II find that I always voluntarily eat/behave healthier when I train. It seems stupid to spend time and money on getting healthy by running and then spend time money on ruining it all a few hours later.

If you get motivated by data www.runningahead.com is the best online running log.

    I wish you luck.

I bought a new lawnmower at the weekend - does that count?
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

New all grain home brewing equipment. Making beer from grain and hops and paying 0% tax on it - the best part - (apart from VAT on some of the supplies and equipment for the pedantic ones). Quite relaxing as a hobby.

Whne nobody can afford beer I will be dealing in super strength hooch to get people through the recession/ depression as a plan B.

google "turbo cider" if you want an easy way to get pee'd on next to nothing and of course have some time to waste on your hands.

It's all good. New toys and helping the economy... something to counteract the DOOM threads. :P

I just got myself a robot hoover.

The IRobot, called Roomba - latest model.

I've set him to come on for an hour every day when I'm at work - he's goes all the way round the bottom floor of the house (2 reception rooms, a big hallways, and a large kitchen and dining room), then gos back to his docking station to charge

He was a steal at £300 notes.

I'm thinking of getting his mopping friend next
