Jacqui Smith and her gang are very disturbed and dangerous people who seem to think everyone in the UK is a criminal-in-waiting.

Keep everyone scared, then you can keep eroding civil liberties. Wonder if this is a precursor to a re-introduction of the 42 day detention bill

Exactly, they never say these things without having some other motive, I will expect in the next week one of her labour side kicks will come out with "The Home Secretary told us a few days ago that we have nuclear threat" then they will try to justify something, some new law.

This lot are not to be trusted.

Not sure the Tories are to be trusted either but we'll see how they get on soon enough...

Ms. Smith has scared me from day one. Stalanist.

Spock: "Trained? Judging from you, I would have guessed it was trial and error."

I bet even the terrorists didn't think of that..Now they have an idea. I'm sure we'll soon be flooded with reports of "a dozen groups actively now seeking to obtain nuclear material".

I think she just got 24 series 2 on DVD
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
