The problem with price comparison websites, that purport to get you the best quote, is that I feel they are not all-encompassing enough.
There's always that nagging doubt that :
a) They are only representing a small sample of price offers (based on their Clients)
b) They are not impartial. They only promote their member's interests.
c) They "pretend" to offer you a good deal, but that "deal" is limited to a small group of advertisers. What about old Fred down the road, who runs his own business ? Why are his prices not on there ?
Does anyone really use these sorts of sites ?Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
