My overall sentiment on the £ is down. That does not stop me taking contratrend longs.
Sometimes trades play out longer than expected. There is no black and white in trading, only probabilities.
I scale my positions and let the rest run with a breakeven stop.
On 5th March at 12:00, I had scaled my position at 100 pips from approx 1.4180 to 1.4080. That is a very good intraday move.
If you had held this position for 4 days until the 9th March as a swing trade with a stop above the previous swing high of 14360, you would have reached a low 1.3775. Thats a very good move of 400 pips. If you had held for longer, you would have reached 13652, not too far from my 13500 target. And you would have taken money off the table quite a few times beforehand.
And btw, I am still bearish on the £, but that wont stop me taking a long scalp trade against the trend.
If you dont understand what I have written, I feel very sorry for you.
Thats my last word on the subject. Take it or leave it. I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else.
